Presezzo/Italy, 2018/06/25 – After the new season of the FIA European Truck Racing Championship started with the first two races in Misano (Italy) and Hungaroring (Hungary), the third race is to be held at Nürburgring from June 29 to July 1, 2018. SPEEDLINE TRUCK, the truck wheel brand of Switzerland’s RONAL GROUP, has been actively supporting the tankpool24 racing team since 2013 and as a leading supplier of light alloy forged wheels for trucks, trailers and buses, the company is again actively contributing to the racing team’s success this season.
Alongside two-time champion Norbert Kiss from Hungary, this year sees the first appearance of Steffen Faas at the starting line with the tankpool24 team. The 34-year old car mechanic from the Black Forest had already gained experience during the last Truck Grand Prix season and is as highly motivated as Kiss.
As a sponsor and partner of the tankpool24 racing team, SPEEDLINE TRUCK will be supplying specially developed closed wheels in 22.5×9.00 inch as it has done in previous years. SPEEDLINE TRUCK’s forged wheels have already demonstrated their high strength and safety in many races. Furthermore, the company will be on site with its own stand and staff, showcasing its extensive range of wheels. In addition, a customer event will take place with visitors from Germany.
